Bio

Dr. Zhe Wan completed his PhD at University of Pittsburgh in July of 2022. His research focused on poroelastic modeling of the development of pore water pressure in pavements under traffic load and its impact on pavement performance. He received an M.S. in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) at the University of Southern California in 2017 and a B.S. in Civil Engineering at the Hefei University of Technology in Hefei, China, in 2013. Zhe was also the recipient of the 2020 CEE/EGSO Travel Grant Award. After recieving his PhD, Zhe has gone on to work at the University of Kentucky as a post-doc scholar.
